We're having the adventure of our lives! ![]() |
There are 368 people who are a part of this ministry and are involved in every phase of this church. Most of our deacons are a part of this ministry. Seniors
are involved in the C.U.P. Ministry (ministering to local prison employees), FAITH
(soul winning ministry), hospital and nursing home ministry, delivering meals to
our homebound, teaching Sunday Morning Bible Study, leading other Bible studies,
and the building program.
One of the greatest things about seniors is - if they do not have the strength and energy to get the job done, they share their resources to help those who have the strength and power to do the job, and they are joyful givers.
Our seniors believe our pastor was sent from the Lord and that he is a man led by the Holy Spirit, and therefore feel they can join ranks with him to win Livingston, Texas to the Lord.
Our seniors are ordinary folks here - Hearing aids go up and down as they select what they want to hear and what they do not want to hear. They swap stories about replaced knees, hips and teeth. Seniors may groan when standing up and sigh when sitting down, but most of the time smile and love one another.
The reason they love one another is because they have been made brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus our Savior. For that reason, they weep when one of them is taken from us and rejoice when another pulls through a crisis in his or her life.
You are welcome to come and meet with other seniors each month for a time
of fellowship and information.
