WELCOME to the Mother's Day Out area of our website. A safe, clean, fun, and Christian environment is offered to children within the age range of two months to four years during the school year and summer on Tuesdays and Thursdays. 

OUR COMMITMENT:  To provide a nurturing, developmentally appropriate envirnment that encourages each child to develop mentally, spiritually, socially, and emotionally during the school year and summer months.

MDO COORDINATOR:  Ms. Olga Kohrman is the Mother's Day Out Coordinator at Central Baptist.  She retired from teaching after 34 years and has a degree in elementary education and English.  She is the proud mother of two daughters and one precious grandson.

Olga has lived in Livingston as well as being a member of Central Baptist Church since 1958.  In previous years, she has worked in Vacation Bible School and was a teacher and helper in the Youth Department.  She says, "I have had the privilege of being cook on several summer youth mission trips."

Olga says, "I have learned much about and from the children, ages of birth through the four year olds.  They are eager to be loved and to learn which makes working with them a rewarding and pleasurable experience.  I look forward to working in this capacity for years to come."

Mother's Day Out Curriculum

• The Wee Learn Curriculum is used which offers a program that allows children to grow and develop as Jesus did. 
  
• The curriculum provides a range of activities designed to meet the needs of infants and toddlers at their level of development. 
  
• Teachers plan activities to help each child develop language, pre-reading,
  pre-writing, and other foundational skills appropriate to his or her stage of development. 
  
• Teachers plan activities which will meet the specific needs and interests of each child.

     Days of Operation:
       Tuesdays and Thursdays
       Fall Session Begins August 25, 2009

     Hours of Operaton:
         During the school year:         8:30 A.M. - 4:30 P.M.
         During the summer session:    8:30 A.M. - 3:30 P.M.

     Registration Fees:
         For the School Year:              $50.00 per child
         Fee For the Summer Session:   $25.00 per child

     Cost for Summer Session:
         Two Months - Two Years Old   $19.00/day
         Three and Four Year Olds       $18.00/day
