Want to transform your devotional life?
Try Scripture Memory!

Scripture memory is one of the best ways to keep us
connected to God's Word.  Here are two reasons
why scripture memory is essential
in the life of a believer.

1.  Scripture Memory helps keep us going in the right direction and to pursue Christlikeness.
I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.  Psalm 119:11  NIV

2.  Scripture memory is key to knowing the truth in a world which bombards us with lies.
Sanctify them by truth; your word is truth.  John 17:17  NIV

A new verse will be posted monthly in both the New International Version and the New King James Version.  Try memorizing one of them.  Don't worry if you miss a verse, an archive file of verses is available.  Suggestion:  Find a trusted friend and agree to work together to memorize God's Word.  Your devotional life will be transformed!

In His Word,
Randal Whitt, Associate Pastor • Spiritual Development
