CBC's Chainsaw Team Deployed
In December of 2007 a major ice storm rolled over the plains of Oklahoma. Ice ladened trees snapped and toppled causing considerable property damage and devastation. As part of the DISASTER RELIEF EFFORT, the Chainsaw Team of Central Baptist Church travelled to Oklahoma
to assist in the recovery. They departed the week after Christmas and worked through the
first few days of January 2008. In spite of betterly cold temperatures the work went on.
The homeowners were overwhelmed by the generosity of these volunteers.
